Re: 2017 - AFL / AFLW - Australian Football TV Ratings

After all the hyperventilating and chest beating it appears the females fumblers ratings have fallen off a cliff. Two of the games recorded 25k and 33k respectively. For the sake of not upsetting the precious fumbling fans here all I will say is...... wow......that's kinda low....lolololololololol.

I also note in a factual manner that they are now giving out estimated crowd figures in exactly rounded amounts of 4000, 5500 and 8000. Any comments?? In my humble opinion there were nothing like 4000 out at Blacky on Saturday. If anybody thinks there was please PM me ...........I have a few bridges I'm selling......lolololol.

AFLW ratings were always going to drop when the mens preason started - Saturdays matches conflicted with a range of AFL preason games that were also on Fox, causing the Brisbane game to be move to Foxsports 3.
Seems like a reasonable explanation. You understand now Terry?

Well knock me over with a wet lettuce leaf!!!!! You and Wookie in full agreement the massive drop in ratings is as expected and all going to plan!! I love it when you fumblers nod in unison and pat each others back!!! You dills are incapable of independent thought.

I was wondering about that as I often watch a match later on having them on series link and whether they counted that in ratings. Wonder what the repeats rate for afl given they are shown throughout the week

I see no fumbleball ratings have been posted this week so I thought I'd do a quick synopsis of how things are travelling. I won't make any comments for fear of upsetting our......ahem.......Melbourne centric folk.

The mens pre season fumbling crowds are down 22% on last year. Yep.....that's 22% down. The ratings are down 20%.....yep that's 20% down.

The female fumblers ratings were down to 270k last round. They have been going down week after week after they got 1.8mill in the first round. That's 1.53mill viewers lost. One game last round however had no ratings posted. I'm not sure if it was because the number was so low it didn't register or the number was so high it broke the ratings machine....probably the latter.....lol.

They now post some crowds in round number 'estimates' that appear to be .....ummm.......heroic....lol. Other crowd numbers come from double headers with the male fumblers. Strangely they claim the exact same number for the ladies as the men. I will leave it to others if they wish to comment on this practice.

That's all folks.......have a great day!!!

Dear Wookie,
No where in my post did I make any disparaging remarks about you or the way you post numbers here. I am well aware you post them elsewhere. That is in fact where I got them from.

I am sorry I have upset you and I appreciate everything you do.

All the best,

Tezza.

That's over 4 million ratings ... the cumulative total for Australian rules football should be pretty good this year.
