Yeah, i know crap, it is funny how far behind the NRL are in this respect.
Well rugby league is killing AFL with grassroots in Pacific regions.
AFL can't even put a team together that can compete against Australia
You see what you AFL fans have to realise is AFL has only one country they can get players from.
No New Zealand, No Fiji, No England, No PNG.
These countrys all have a much stronger interest in Rugby League/Union.
AFL is a one trick pony basically.

1 country
Nothing else anywhere.

Every game is a sellout, yet the China stadium always looks so empty. All apparently in the back tents hey??

Total participation- 265,760 (up 5.2 per cent)
Community Club participation- 30,531 (up 3.5 per cent)
NAB AFL Auskick participation- 29,116 (up 1.81 per cent) across 966 Auskick centres
AFL 9's participation- 3,504
School programs and competition participation- 202,609 (third highest participation behind Victoria and WA)
Female participation- 111,642 (up 18.85 per cent)
Accredited coaches- 4,088
Accredited umpires- 1,271 (up 6.6 per cent)
Regions with the greatest level of participation were;
Moreton Bay North
Brisbane Inner West
North West Brisbane

For every code .
It's just that the afl have been bullshitting far longer .& theses numbers are accepted as truth by many of the cultists.
