“We are continuing talks with the NRL to host Grand Finals in Queensland.”

Wally Lewis also agreed an NRL Grand Final would draw tens of thousands of people from far and wide.

“Queensland definitely deserves a grand final,” he said.

“The entire state loves the sport so of course there’s going to be a sell-out no matter where it is held. There’s a huge passion for the sport.”
