I agree with this thread fully. The peronal attacks need to stop

This forum is turning into a place filled with racist bogans who are illiterate and contribute nothing.

I try my hardest to keep some civil order in this place. But i am not super human, although many people here believe i am, i am unfortunately am not.

I totally agree with this thread and have been campaigning since the year dot for improvements.
Stop bitching about homophobic posts and just delete them.
We don't need half the posts.
If people are going to post opinion then they should have neutral titles. (Good luck with that one)
I look forward to the day when we can have a debate and desist with the abuse club antics.
IMO we might lose a few people initially (with higher standards)but for the long term viability of the forum I think it is essential.

Yes hmmm...yes I see. fairly reasonable summations there wook apart from the personal attacks...depending on your definition of these.

I and others should be allowed to call folk names which describe their behaviour and intellect such as the following (all of which can be used to describe cos and leagueiscrap):

Snotfobrains
Dumb chimp
Clueless clown
Knobjockey
bumbling fool

and so on and so forth as is within the rules of fightclub. If you would prefer this is lessened "a bit" I suggest you support my call for the reopening of the once famous Fight Club 'Fan vs Fan'. I've discussed with beaussie who is slowly coming round to the idea of giving it another go with me as mod. If we do give it a go I'd expect that personal insults would naturally lessen in the Fight Club AFL v NRL.

Again, it's a fight club, not an abuse club.

Insults are viewed differently by different people so it's easier just to avoid insults altogether, rather try and judge the degree of insult.

wookie could you please delete rubbish like this totally irrelevant to the thread. crapper has posted this several times to deflect the topic of discussion. in one of the other threads dogs or eels was calling out gayfl , yet we don't see crapper calling that out or any AFL fan bothering to carry on about it being a homophobic remark

Shut yer Lilly arse yapper adumb. There's nuttin wrong with aflcrap1s post. He's addressing the point at hand quite eloquently and we could do without ur potty mouthed abuse of the English language in these threads where we are trying to achieve something. Got it?

spazza/ aflcrapper is a sulky whiny little looser, which is pretty funny for a bloke in his 40s or 50s. His posts often has nothing to do with the topic of discussion or even thread, just an attack on an individual & repeats it several times over

Look we all enjoy abusing other members, that's why we are here. If you want the talk in this board to be more footy oriented then there is no doubt that a fan vs fan board would alleviate the need to describe one another by the quality of their posts.
