State of Origin Woes!!!!

Well as usual there are winners and losers at origin time!! Don't get me wrong, I love the State of Origin - fantastic rivalry and atmosphere but when it affects so many clubs it really looks like the Club competition is unimportant!! And - how is it that the team that is on top of the ladder provides no State of Origin representatives at all?? With all the injuries from Game 1 that has affected so many teams and then you have about 8 weeks of players not playing or backing up for their clubs, how can it be called a fair competition?? Remember Mr NRL, where do you get all the money from to run this competition?? (It isn't the 3 games of Origin)!! There has to be a better way of doing it!!
