Contrary to the delusional Derpball fans on here ,International Derpball( :_<> :_<> :_<> )is not in the same ballpark as international RL.
Next yr there will be a PNG team playing in the Q Cup,& the long term aim is to join the NRL.(personally I think that is a long long way off),but that makes a team from other countries in our top tier & & 2nd tier Comps..

Can any of the head up their arse delusional clowns on here show me any international team in a derpball Comp in OZ(Not a mickey mouse tournament ,but a weekly domestic comp)?
Can you show me (besides the laughable fantasies in your head)where any other country has shown interest in joining a derpball comp in this country.

No issue there. Afl rules Australia and I'm content with that

Afl rules SOUTHERN Aus.
RL is King in the northern states.

No I worked with a kiwi lass who lived in Darwin for a few years then came to here. She's a union lass. I asked her about afl in nt thinking it was 50 50 and she said no, it's afl crazy.. Nrl or union is very small. She worked in Darwin but would travel across nt as part of her job. That's only one person's, albeit unbiased, observation however. Oh and many years ago another colleague told me the same thing however she was from nsw and worked in Darwin for a while.

no, afl is bigger around the townships and down more towards alice springs, rl is more popular in darwin itself.

Funny both worked in Darwin but that was only two people. Where did you live parra ?

It's why the afl footy show and the afl games got moved for RL.

Even old Roy Masters wrote about the "winds of change" or something like that about the NT and Television with the sports back in 03-05 time.

Sorry, I missed where you said you lived. Everyone has a different perception and the two people I spoke to who lived in darwin perception was that afl was huge and clearly the major sport ... One was a kiwi and the other a rl person from nsw. But I am interested in your experience living in the nt as those are just two people's opinions. So where did you live that gave you impression rl was bigger ... Darwin was it? Anyone else who has lived in nt got a perspective ?

Looking at participation and stuff it would appear that rl has a lot more following and a decent presence however unlike say in Victoria and south Australia etc.

I'm sorry, but the facts are that the vfl got removed because the locals kicked up a stink about having to put up with the vfl first, it didn't last, RL is on instead, that's the facts.

so what part of NT did you live in again. I only spoke to two people who had lived there so hardly a good sample. They weren't afl fans either so unbiased. So where abouts?cause that would make three people, although I doNT think your opinion is unbiased lol
