Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
Yep. But those who were going to be put of by the predicted thunder storms would not have gone anyway.
Fact is the suns got more to their game than the titans. Now, this was dopey due no doubt to a large number of Collingwood fans going. The rain effected both games but yes, it was raining when the titans game started.
Not sure what else you want to be acknowledged. Always seems to be excuses for why nrl do poorly. I'm just saying that it was a beautiful day with thunder storm predicted in the afternoon and night. If that was going to put you off you wouldn't have gone to the suns game knowing it was going to storm down.
So, averages for both teams at home ?

Oh my
You are too fucking thick to
argue with .
You still won't accept that afl fans arrived dry .
Didn't have to sit there soaked before the game had even started .
I've explained it .
You won't even discuss what I posted

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
Yes I have. You can use all the excuses you like... which is par for course. You can even refuse to accept others point of view if it disagrees with yours.... part of your egocentrism I know and I accept that part of your personality.
So ... I am hearing what you are saying. You are saying because it was raining prior to the game it is not comparable to the suns game a few hours earlier because it was not raining at the start of the game. For crowd reasons I say it didn't make that much of a difference and here is why.
People going to the game had made up their mind to go prior to the rain starting. Which I hazard a guess was about 630 pm. For both games rain and thunderstorms were forecast and some very dark storm clouds existed prior to the suns game. So those worried about rain wouldn't have gone to the suns game or the titans game.
Therefore I think both near enough equally impacted by the rain. Rain.
Now try to respond without abuse and try to think outside the one dimensional view you put forth. You and I both know if it was a reverse situation you would not be saying it was too different. Try and be objective.
I can see you point you are clinging to, and I understand it. But it is a bias one which is your form . Afl bad nrl good. There's more to life mate trust me.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
You still don't get it
Family gets ready for afl game
No rain as yet ..mite rain later ..we will get undercover when it starts
Family dry to watch start of game
Family intending to go to NRl
Pissing rain
Going to get soaked before getting to seats
Spend game wet .
Nope
We will go to next game
You tried to claim the conditions were the same
absolute bullshit .
Show me the pics of the pissing rain ..the ground with water on it at the thuns game .
Lol
& you can fuck off with your personality analysis
Typical deflection tactic .
At least my personality doesn't include being a stalker .

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
I suspect when both were getting ready that it was plenty dry. You're forgetting .... I live here ... I was in the whether. The stadiums aren't that far apart. I suspect most people who were going to the titans were going and had left prior to it raining unless they lived around the corner.
Sane enough conditions. One was twilight one was a night game. One started raining heavy during the game one started raining just prior to the game.
Listen, I know it an excuse to use ... but the rain dampening people motivation to go existed for both games. If you were worried about the rain you wouldn't have gone to either game.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
It was pretty bad ground wise at Robina. I had it on the radio on the way home and they were saying the ground was holding up well although just as it started they said there was a pooling of water starting at one end. It obviously got worse for sure.
Re one starting in the rain one having rain in middle of game. Again you miss my point. Those not going due to rain would have not gone to either so impacted on both crowds the same. You may disagree but opinions are like aresholes ... everyone has one.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
Isn't it funny how the games were held hrs apart, down the road from each other! Yet the tossball bans can claim the weather was a factor for the titans game but not for the Suns game!
Usual league logic
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap
and she still changes your nappies as well!
