And they won't have the money to make it work after they only get $600 million in their TV rights deal.

Yep.

The fact remains all afl clubs have significantly greater incomes than NRL clubs due to great crowds and membership numbers. The crowds increase exposure that results in far greater money from sponsorship.

The NRL miss out on all these advantages because their fans believe the game is better on TV. Well then they better make the most of their TV rights because they will need it to come within a whiff of the AFL financially. Funny thing is, the AFL still has the far superior TV deal despite dominating the other revenue streams by miles!
