They're the most comparable conditions we get Terry. Just because you rarely win them doesnt mean they're not meaningful

No they're not. Very, very different. We have a game on right before the Friday night 8pm game. We have a massive supporter base in NZ that isn't counted. The games start at different times on different channels and go into different markets.

They simply can't be compared......unless RL wins ......and then I will compare the hell out of it!!!!!!!!

That's the way it works around here. I will be repeating this endlessly ……..because I'm right!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyy me!!!!!!!
So count your Thursday night then Terry, when there's only 1 game on and no AFL to compete with
Fact is your highest rating game for each round is repeatedly outrated by our highest rating game, irrespective of the day they are played.

The outrage is palpable today, these NRL fans are up in arms. Ratings are the only thing they have, so it's obvious why they hate losing them

You still don't seem to get it pal. No comparisons will be made unless RL comes out in front. If RL loses I will make up some half arsed excuse why they don't compare and I will repeat it endlessly. When you do that it makes it right!!!!!! It's an automatic thingy that works around here.

Nah......totally incomparable pal. And thanks......feeling great. I decided I would think like a fumbleball fan for the day ………….. and you know what......it's bloody fantastic!!!!!!! You just give the ol' grey matter a rest and follow the crowd like a brainless zombie staggering around in the dark.

Reality doesn't matter and the truth is optional...…..what a feeling!!!!!!!! Anyway.....in this world RL always wins.....even when it doesn't. Yep.....Rugby League is the winner!!!!

We win the fight
You win a few rounds
We win the fight .

You celebrate those rounds ..it's all you have
You're so wrong.
We have much, much more.
The annual battle means diddly squat if you then lose the war.
The broadcast deal is the ratings war.
Converting those viewers into sheets.
Until the next cycle the AFL are 50mil per season ahead in the war.
according to lol thinking we are more valuable
RL gets more per hr than AFl .
We get more ratings each year .

It's hard to accept but thems the facts .

Look pal, I don't wanna be too hard onya so i'll be gentle. You're a dim witted fool with below average skills in mathematics.

A trained monkey can work out that minute for minute RL gets more broadcast money than the fumbling mess of a game. In fact I would go so far as to say an untrained monkey could also work this out!!!

Thats where the tv ratings stand pal. All the best!!

50mil more per season.

Minute by minute, pffft. You almost make me believe that you believe that.
You're talking about content volume.
And we win that to.
We get more and are paid way more for it.

Terry,
Just to clarify for all the guests and members.
By the AFL receiving $50,000,000 more per season than the NRL.
The NRL broadcast deal is better?
Is that what you're leading us to believe?

The 'minute by minute' argument is one of the absolute worst and reeks of desperation.
Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.

Let me explain for you
Some afl posters on here try to say that Aflol ratings should be multiplied by 1.5 because games go for 120 mins compared to RL games at 80 mins .
That's desperation there .
Can't accept that RL is the most watched sport so they apply some bizarre theory .
Yet when you say ok we shall apply that to the tv deal which makes RL far more valuable
We get far more per hr for broadcast than afl does it suddenly doesn't apply .

You can't have it both ways ...& that's excatly what lol tries to do .

So
I'm ok saying .
RL wins the ratings. Is the most watched
& AFL got the higher media deal .

Yet the cultists can't bring themselves to admit that Aflol gets beaten in ratings .

Ratings are ratings. Minutues don't matter. Viewer for viewer.
Do you think you guys harp on ratings more or AFL fans harp on crowds more?
And do you really think that SOO carries so much weight that it makes any other tv argument irrelevant? Any argument I've heard from North just ends with "origin".
Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.
