And all the people that channel 9 and Fox Sports interviewed were Aussies, and so we don't know what the Americans think of Thugby? All we know is that they think Thugby League, Thugby Union and AFL is all the same game.

the first NRL game ever played in the US rated as well as afl does in NSW & QLD , & the afl has had teams in those states for 42 years

the NRL delivered .. a spectacular event ..it removed all competition for media here , sucked the air out of the room & it still hasn't returned.
the ratings in Australia were astonishing & will only be replicated by future matches in the USA
people are STILL talking about the games , or when their teams are playing & their desire to experience this once in a life time trip

they are the most switched on , up & about sport in our nation & the afl is rattled

Definitely I think it put a rocket up the AFL for sure. NRL dida great job of this.
