I asked where players from other sports had put pen to paper to implore that the racism within their sport be stopped

& yes the ad was directed at all sports .
No one has denied there's racism in all sports ..there is ..
It's just that one sport in this country seems to have a major problem with racism .
Have far more problems than others .

Last I looked afl was the dominant sport in nt and wa and has a strong following in nsw and qld so not sure if they are southern ... and south is relative to where you are. Tasmanians may see it as a northern sport for instance

Every code has a small minority of racists, it's a fact of life in every country. However, we have far more fans than any other Australian sport so it follows we will see more incidents. Thankfully they are isolated fans who are quickly reported by other responsible fans and dealt with by the clubs.

The AFL are being proactive about racism, and this includes the players. Why the hell didnt that happen when the QLD SOO team were abused by sections of the crowd?
