AFL's used to be 3 times the NRL average only 15 years agoNSWAFL wrote:It is when their crowd averages still exceed yours, Dave. And AFL's is way ahead of both of them!
this year it will be less then double
& this is even after a bitter civil war that nearly ended the game

And it will be 3 times again once the Suns and the Giants settle in. The only reason the NRL average is up is because of the only club that's actually getting it done at the gates. The Broncos.

nice use of figures there Dave. Yes the NRL dis accelerate after SL. But this has slowed now. In 4 years they increased 4k. In the last 11 they have only increase in average by 2k, so they have slowed substantially.Raiderdave wrote:AFL's used to be 3 times the NRL average only 15 years agoNSWAFL wrote:It is when their crowd averages still exceed yours, Dave. The AFL still maintain an advantage by approximately double despite aggressive expansion in to foreign markets.

And yet still behind the AFL for crowds and members on the Gold Coast and still behind RU in the ACT when it comes to crowds and members. Oh and sponsorship. lolRaiderdave wrote:AFL's used to be 3 times the NRL average only 15 years agoNSWAFL wrote:It is when their crowd averages still exceed yours, Dave. the Brumbies are on their last legs .. can barely pay their bills
a winning Raiders outfit in 2012 will see off the scum once n for all ...........
how can you still be talking up the thuns
they're on their way out after ONE season
memberships 33% down on this time last year & I'd say crowds will follow when they start getting thumped again.. when the season starts
gee
what will happen to them in 2013
i saw a season preview for the NRL coming up
8 experts picking their 8 for 2012
4 of them picked the Titans .............
ouch
