DESPITE comprising just 25 per cent of its inaugural membership, the 3000 local Greater Western Sydney foundation members were a ''good start'', according to chief executive David Matthews.
When the AFL's franchise finalised its memberships on October 31, it had 12,165 paid-up supporters. Canberra - where the club will play three matches next year - accounted for more than 40 per cent, while the 14 GWS local government areas managed 25 per cent. The rest came from elsewhere.
''That's a good base,'' Matthews said of the 3000 locals. ''We are really pleased with essentially what represents a strong intention to be very involved with the club.''

there'd be no reason ... none
that would have their present 4,400 members with a different make up from last years breakdown of locals
my claim... is Proven
NSWAFL ... a sh.ithead point (or whateva its called ) for him.. amongst the 50,000 he's already got

Claim is not proven. He's basing this claim off the Foundation membership alone and there is NO evidence that the percentage has repeated itself, except his wishful thought that it did and carelessly expressing it as fact. In fact it is possible that the 3,000 has all signed up and form the majority of the present club membership numbers. Something that Dave will claim is impossible, when of course it's not.

An estimation based on a flagrant outright wishful GUESS!Raiderdave wrote:an estimation based on factual evidence
theres no reason why they'd be any different... phhhttt proper games .... please ..
the proof of this most probably being the case is the figures from last year ... I'm almost certainly right here
& am certainly more likely to be right then that flog NSWAFL

Re: BS File claim#11: only about 1000 (GWS members are) from
Logic? Since when has logic ever dictated membership numbers? It's an instinct thing and has nothing whatsoever to do with logic!Raiderdave wrote:oh so none of the 12K from last year have bought a membership this year
its a different 4K completely is it ?
idiot
almost certainly the 33% who have signed up out of the 12K from last year .. to date are from the same area's as last year
if 25% from western sydney signed up for a foundation membership ... then 25% have signed up for a proper one too
if 40% from Canberra signed up for a foundation membership....then 40% have signed up for a proper one too
logic tells you this
but of course try explaining that to the most delusional ... illogical ... drop kicks on the face of the earth .... flogball fans
& you get the above comical.... borderline sad.. comments
Dave = Epic FAIL!

Summary: evidence provided by claimant was for last year. No evidence was provided for this years figures therefore the claim is deemed bs.
Verdict: bs point for Raiderdave
