Got any proof yet?
I mean no proof is ever good enough for the nrlol and their stretched numbers yet you loons are in hissy fits over the afls numbers
Got any proof yet?
Record lowest gws / swans crowd.
Yeah, I agree Wookster. Bad timing. Bad scheduling. Bad Gilty. This game should be a highlight of the Sydney sporting scene. I can't believe only 3k attended. What happened pal?????The_Wookie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2019 7:26 pmHavent looked it up but probably. Most of these games are played later in the day or at night. Saturday afternoon not a great time for this,
Considering form of the Swans this season and $60 ticket prices for cheap seats after all the GA limited seats were sold out, the crowd wasn’t too bad. Can’t understand how the Giants price their tickets so high. I baulked at the price before paying and know many other Swans fans who just didn’t go as a result and thinking Swans would cop a hiding. They ended up missing a cracking game.
That the biggest fixture on Sydney's AngloFL calendar gains so little fanfare, smashes argument of being a top 2 code.Beaussie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 6:41 amConsidering form of the Swans this season and $60 ticket prices for cheap seats after all the GA limited seats were sold out, the crowd wasn’t too bad. Crowd was still bigger than every other NRL crowd in Sydney yesterday. That’s to be expected though eh?
Oh and yeah... Australian Rules... No.2 code in NSW.
Well it’s got you leaguies in a flap like this fixture does every year.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 8:54 amThat the biggest fixture on Sydney's AngloFL calendar gains so little fanfare, smashes argument of being a top 2 code.Beaussie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 6:41 amConsidering form of the Swans this season and $60 ticket prices for cheap seats after all the GA limited seats were sold out, the crowd wasn’t too bad. Honestly, Brookvale & Cronulla were bigger. Gws number angloflicized.Beaussie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 9:05 amWell it’s got you leaguies in a flap like this fixture does every year.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 8:54 amThat the biggest fixture on Sydney's AngloFL calendar gains so little fanfare, smashes argument of being a top 2 code.Beaussie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 6:41 am

Biggest football crowd in Sydney yesterday = AFL.
Yep... No.2 code in NSW.

Well pal you're wrong again. Brookvale oval record crowd is 27,655. Un-named stadium record crowd is 21,924. Brookvale's capacity is now capped at about 20k. Un-named stadium capacity is 24k. So your 'smaller crowd at a smaller venue' analogy is demonstrably incorrect.The_Wookie wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 10:14 amGiven the long history of NRL number fudging...its far more likely that GWS numbers are just following a proven example, if indeed they are doing anything.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 9:10 am

Smaller crowd at a smaller venue is going to look bigger due to viewing perspectives.
