3.7m for the round.

Re: 2018 - Rugby League TV Ratings - NRL etc
Wow!!!!! If they only got 3.5M that's 600k down on R9 2017!!!!!! It's amazing no media are reporting on this. The AFL is leaking 100k's viewers per week. In fact in week 1 of the Comm games they lost over 1M & nearly 2M in the 2nd week.
They have literally lost multi millions of viewers in only 9 weeks. Surely someone in the mainstream media is going to pick up on this. #AFLcrisis.

Most watched Terry. 27 hrs of AFL watched by a similar sized audience as the 16 hours of NRL. Most watched by FAR

Oh dear.....your delusion has reached such depths it's pointless even responding to it. You'd better set up your own ratings agency.....good luck with that lolololololololololol.NlolRL wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 3:17 pmMost watched Terry. 27 hrs of AFL watched by a similar sized audience as the 16 hours of NRL. it's pure logic Terry. 3m people watching a sport for 27 hours compared to only 16. The AFL is most watched by a massive marginTerry wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 3:44 pmOh dear.....your delusion has reached such depths it's pointless even responding to it. if you lengthen your telecast with ads or padding your average ratings will drop. People dont tune in for the adsleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 4:14 pmdo you think if the NRL decided to install 2 extra breaks and increase its half time by a further 10mins

Re: 2018 - Rugby League TV Ratings - NRL etc
I dunno pal.....where does one start? I'll take it easy on ya because in your brief moments of clarity you seem like a decent enough chap........but of course hopelessly deluded by Gilligan & the gang.
Ok: The ratings announced are the average over the time of a particular telecast. If a show goes for 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours the premise is the same. i.e. the average over the time of the telecast is the rating number. It does not and cannot multiply by any valuation, either up or down, due to it's length. Understand? No. Didn't think so loololololol.
Bottom line: just because a particular program goes for longer than another does not and cannot mean it automatically has higher ratings. It is the same ppl watching the same program a little longer. Simple yes? Didn't think so lololololololol.
For your delusion to be correct it would mean one group of ppl watch the first half of a game, then turn off or watch something else, and another totally different set of ppl watch the 2nd half. That is of course ludicrous.
The only thing of consequence a longer telecast brings AFL should be a much bigger broadcast deal compared to the NRL......but that didn't happen either. So it's a lose lose for the longer telecast pal lololololo.
OK: understand all that????? No. Well I've done my best. In future I'll be bringing out the old goldfish bowl lolololololol.

Re: 2018 - Rugby League TV Ratings - NRL etc
I totally understand what average ratings mean. However, the length of time must come into consideration when considering multiple 'sessions'. Why? Well I support 1 team and will watch them on TV or attend their games most weeks. However, I do not have time to watch another 24 hours of footy in one weekend. Where as you only need to watch another 14 hours to have watched every game, and 2 of those hours are on Thursday night. If we both spent those 14 hours watching our sport you are counted as watching 7 more games, while Im counted as watching less than 5.Terry wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 7:36 pmI dunno pal.....where does one start? You laugh at the AFL's foxtel ratings on Saturday, and many are low compared to the 3 NRL games. But who the hell watches 15-18 hours of sport in one day. You only have 6 hours to watch every game, which is far more feasible than 15 hours.
Length of time makes a massive difference to ratings when considering multiple games.
Will you understand or acknowledge this? Of course not!

Re: 2018 - Rugby League TV Ratings - NRL etc
Sorry pal, it's just nonsensical rubbish. A longer program does not and cannot mean bigger ratings. It is the average over the time of the program whether it is 1h, 2hr's, 3hr's. If 10 ppl watch a 3 hour program you just cannot say it's actually 15 ppl because of the length of the program......because it's not!! It's still 10 ppl.
And your Saturday ratings are a scheduling problem. The AFL schedules the less attractive games for the worse spots which are Saturdays. They offset this by having FTA TV into all home markets. If you want to change this get Gilligan to change the scheduling - simple. You just cannot say because of the scheduling we should multiply the ratings we get ........because it's not the real number. It's a manufactured fantasy number that does not in reality exist.
