If you had a clue
Which going by your posting the answer is NO
It's virtually impossible to drop kick when running at full pace .
Why .
Because it's much much much more difficult when the ball has to hit the ground before being kicked .
I hope a light goes on somewhere in the dim recesses of your brain .
& you realise the difficulty factor is multiplied many times when you try to vp compare a normal kick on the run to a drop kick .
The AFL stab pass is very close to a drop kick because the contact is so low. It wouldnt make much of a difference if the ball touched the ground

Re: Skill Level
wouldn't make much of a difference
Oh my
There is a huge difference between dropping a ball onto your foot & dropping it on the ground & kicking it .

Re: Skill Level
not when you make contact with the ball only cm's off the ground, which is proper stab pass technique. AFL players can do this on the run, as the kid showed in the video. Easy peasy

So someone running full speed at you is not pressure?? Tackles is league are not like you soft banana wrestles in AFL.NlolRL wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2017 7:33 pmjealous of your empty stadiums and smaller ratings?NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2017 1:50 pmI can see your jealous insecurities from a mile away lol.. No, Buddy wouldnt score 90% of his goals from set shots. It'd be close to 50/50I dont care if someone was running at him! He was basically stationary. Show me a RL player kicking a goal while running full pace.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2017 1:53 pmNow I can tell your in denial and full of shit.
The very first kick has a guy running full speed at him in white. There are kicks from the 50 metre mark too.
LOL what a dickhead, trying to hide what is completely obvious
Keep trying to convince yourself, if you think it might help you
I showed you running kicks, if you want to keep lieing I guess that is too bad..

Re: Skill Level
you showed no running kicks. You showed a few players taking a couple of steps and kicking. I know you dont get the difference, but it is huge. Running 30-50 metres then kicking long and straight while running at full pace is incredibly difficult.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 3:58 pmSo someone running full speed at you is not pressure?? i didnt need much to show running and kicking a drop kick is easy. You cant show me a RL player do it though.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 4:00 pmIs that the best video you've got lol..NlolRL wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 11:06 amLol, this teenage kid kicks a drop kick while running with no problems at allAFLcrap1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 9:53 amJesus

Re: Skill Level
No pressure???? when they kick field goals in a match the opposition charges at you trying to charge down the ball and smash the kicker
A bloke yesterday could get the kick away on his right so he calmly drops it onto his left and puts it through the post. This same bloke had his leg broken tying the same thing last year.
In your pathetic game get they get Free's ,no one allowed anywhere near you and still miss. and its a punt kick , for god sake, no skill required, Alas, no skill present

Re: Skill Level
I was referring to the videos of people kicking freak goals while practicing.
Set shots in AFL only contribute to maybe half the goals in a game. The rest are under immediate pressure

The one I saw, the bulldogs player had a free 30 out, punt kick, and missed everything, even the Tried Hard posts skill level 0.0

Re: Skill Level
This is why you're laughed at
There is a huge difference ...
You really are off with the fairies .
Dropping the ball on the ground & kicking is far far harder than just dropping it on your foot .
You can't seem to get your head around that .
Go grab a Ball & try it .

Re: Skill Level
who hasnt? As ive said, a stab pass is kicked so close to the ground it's almost the same technique as a drop kick, just timed a little earlier. We used to kick drop kicks all the time at school and at training when I played, just for the shits and giggles.AFLcrap1 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2017 12:19 pmThis is why you're laughed at
