The log in issue still exists as I've just been working on getting all the posts restored from our old forums. Unfortunately some posts are missing from the old site as the copy of the backup database I had was from 28 January 2005. Sorry about those missing posts, but I've been able to restore everything else with the exception of those posts.

My next project is fixing the login issue. In the meantime, when loggin in (your passwords are the same as they were at the old site), just refresh your browser with http://www.talkingfooty.tk after you've logged in and have the message "the server cannot be located" or "this page cannot be displayed". Once refreshed you'll be logged in and able to view, post, whatever.

As I've said previously, it is just a bug in the system that I'll correct asap.

For those that registered after 25 January I'll re-register you asap too.

On a final note, thank you to everyone for your patience during this very frustrating period.
