As I predicted the AFL Fox ratings have continued to tank. R9 2017 1618k, R9 2018 1402. Yep that's 216k less viewers this week for Fox alone.

The NRL on the other hand once again beat last years number, albeit by only 33k, but an increase nonetheless. And it must be noted I am not including NZ Warriors ratings.

We are smashing them without the home ratings of one of our teams .

if you allow for 7 of our games being shown concurrently, and our 50% longer telecast, it is us who is smashing you

Smashed again this week but but but but

How is it Overlap such a big thing LOL if only about 30% of people have pay TV.

The game yesterday, a game of some interest to AFL fans. Almost total overlap but still managed 270k.

The teams on the banned list have next to no interest. But they all have to play sometimes.

hmm, I dunno, cause 30% of your audience can only choose 1 game?

Yes we have some expansion teams with very small support, but these are additional teams that you dont even have. If you had 2 teams in perth and 2 in Melbourne you'd have some poor ratings too. Our top 15 clubs are easily as strong as yours

you always seem to forget the FTA side of things>>
yes there is overlap> but all games are on FTA in at least 1 to 2 states at one time
with every single game.

Im not the one ignoring FTA, these guys were talking about foxtel ratings

Yes, almost every game is on FTA to at least one market. However, the total FTA games for each state is still between 3 and 4

8 games played in isolation to 1. A short 2 hour telecast to 3. 16 hours on TV to 27.

These are factors you continually ignore. I wonder why

Fact is if the AFL get a similar sized audience for a 50% longer program the AFL is clearly more watched

I will agree with you to a certain degree>>

yes longer telecast for a period of time of 3hrs to a 2hrs would mean more people are watching to a "degree".
this is taken into account by broadcasters. that is why AFL got that bit more>
because it = more advertising blocks for a longer period.

Simply put for the brain dead simpletons
When the AFL GF V NRL GF ratings are compared ..it's the highest rating game

Nowhere is there any mention of 1.5 x the AFL ratings ..nowhere but in the brainwashed mind of our resident cultist.
Feel free to show where any tv station ...media or ratings company use this formula

When you find that get back to me
Until then
You're a fucking nutjob .
