Thu STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLSharksStorm National 235k: Metro 168k (Syd 79k Mel 31k Bri 50k Ade 1k Per 7k)

Thu TV #NRL #NRLSharksStorm Metro Nine 373k (Syd 219k Bri 152k) 9Gem 37k (no breakdown yet), Regional 288k

NRL = 933k

Thu TV #AFL #AFLSwansDogs 464k: Seven 353k (Mel 261k Ade 91k) 7mate 111k (Syd 36k Bri 20k Per 55k)

Thu STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLSwansDogs National 187k: Metro 149k (Syd 33k Mel 74k Bri 10k Ade 12k Per 20k)
Regional maybe 160k
AFL = 803k

So that gives us the Season opener, the Grand final replay and the highest rating match of the year.

but but but :rock:
It also maintains our lead 11 to 3 :cheers:

What was your excuse last night? I'm interested to hear. there always good for a laugh.

The GF replay probably less than 800k [-( I notice the match was a Gilligan style sellout. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Is it time ? time to introduce the wildcard?

Thursday night games are fairly new to our fans and are only playes spasmotically, so none of them have really rated that well. Add to that the game was one sided with the bulldogs form being average, and a number of sports fans tuning in to the soccer.

Why did the AFL draw almost 3 times the nrl crowd in NRL heartland?

I beg to differ AFL ratings are usually pretty good on Thursdays...

Also I will add there was 150ml of rain in 24hours..

they AFL doubled the Sharks crowd.
but when stadium like the SCG has undercover seating for 40% of seats

to shark park with 2% undercover seating
that explains a good reason..

1 week earlier sharks got 20k

this game got 8k

Explains what rain can do (especially in NRL game)

most of the AFL's Thursday night games have rated lower. This time slot hasnt been full accepted by AFL fans yet, probably because Thursday games are scheduled spasmodically

Anzac Day clash (ESS vs. COLL) is the highest-rating home and away AFL/NRL game so far in 2017.

Total of 1.4m

--

And regional for the AFL last night was 190k.

which are the same as Mr TV, who tweets about non-porting ratings and shows about 90% of the time

NlolRL its not that difficult a concept! Your club competition is all that you have. You put all of your eggs into that one basket thats because its all your capable of. Fortunately though were not in that same predicament , we have more higher rating games and accumulate more ratings - more interest.

you have a 3 game 'tournament' which is your only real claim for success. Yay, 3 games per year to celebrate. :lol:

What about test matches ? we've only had one so far this year but it rated better than all you matches bar one. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with putting all you efforts into a club competition if you've got no other alternatives Or you may simply just like silver :cheers:
