The only real thing gws have shown us is they can take on some of the top sides when:

1: the top side is way off their game and
2: its wet weather

West Sydney are doing just fine under the circumstances. You're making too much out of getting the wooden spoon. Collingwood got the wooden spoon in 1976 and yet won six games.

Oh what a narrow minded blog by Mark Stevens! Carlton were never in as much trouble as Fitzroy were, and the Blues got out of it because they had the base membership - and the right people (eventually) to correct it.
