CAAFL

Post by King-Eliagh »

Just thought I'd enlighten all about the Central Australian AFL. The competition is fairly high coming from a town of only 27,000 people. At present the Wests Bloods are the premiers from both A-grade, and B-grade and is the team I have chosen to play football with whilst in the red centre.

Another aspect of the comp is the chance to play representative footy for C.A. in various ways. Recently there have been two big games; the town vs country match which drew quite a big crowd, and the C.A. team v the Tiwi Islands up in Darwin as a curtain raiser for the AFL match between Western Bulldogs and the Carlton Blues a few weeks back. Both games were of a high quality with the C.A. team coming out victors in both games.

Yes. Given my natural athletic skills and phenomenal leaping ability i'll be a shoe in once my kick becomes more accurate.
