Who are you with that is $30.00 a fourtnight I cant really afford that anyways I have to many bloody billsLisaJ wrote:$14.95 per week is just the same as Im paying for my gym. Even if I went to a doctor that bulked billed, I would still need to pay out for dental, which I don't get back on medicare...and the best thing, at least you get ambulance coverage, the cost of one of those is way expensive these days..

Because you are using it as reason to be angry, when you don't understand why it's needed.yeenar69 wrote:well if I have to I have to ... SO why is Private health insurance the topic on who you will vote for ...
In the UK there is no private insurance - and the NHS is unable to cope. In the US the public system is a joke because it relies completely on the private system.
If you want to save money, Yeenar, and you are presently paying the Medicare surcharge - take out private insurance. If you don't it's leaving you with less in your pocket.
Understand?

I understand thats why I am looking at different private health packages right now.
The clinic I go to offers dental, but I still have to pay for my own orthodental work. Thats like 3 grand for 4 wisdom teeth to be removed!!
Im going private, to save money.
As for the election, since Im back on the electrol roll I am going to vote for the "I fish and I vote" party.

You may hate insurance companies, but think about it, if you have private health insurance, then you won't have to pay the extreme amounts needed for specialist services and dental.yeenar69 wrote:my view is I HATE insurance companies contrary to the threshold that was not my issue really ... we all PAY regardless
Dental and optical are not covered by medicare, neither are social workers and some psychological services...that you have to pay out of your own pocket and you don't get the medicare rebate.
hence the value of private insurance.
