Are perennial tanksters Melbourne finally reaping the benefits?

Post by King-Eliagh »

Tanking, it's a special form of cheating unique to the afl in Australia and Melbs have been the leaders of the tank over the last decade or so.

And now, look at em! Sitting pretty in third place!! =D =D =D

Personally I say good on em! in a sport rife with cheating and inequity why not eh?

What do others think? Are Melbs reaping the benefits of the tank? Should all teams low on the afl table show those at afl hq where they can stick their cola allowances etc and tank it to high hell to reap benefits?

I say yes, yes they should. If the culture of the administration is that bad it fosters cheating then cheating is a-ok. :thumbleft:

What a comp eh. Go the Ds in 2018! :thumbleft:

Lol
10/10 for thread KE

I'm sure the brainwashed cultists will defend the outright cheating .
They seem to have trouble acknowledging any wrong with the way the comp has been compromised .
TLPG 🤣liar extraordinaire

I see what you are saying here & yes I agree with you. For example if my Lions won the last round last year vs North Melbourne then we would not have got Cameron Rayner (who will be a star in the future) in the draft last year as we would not have got number 1 pick. So in answering your question yes losing was better for us in that game than winning

Also I agree with you again that the game tonight will be terrible. I cant work out why the stupid AFL put Carlton on so many Friday nights when they are hopeless.

Let me know if u need any other questions answered King...

Excellent Pete! Really top notch stuff really. You, sir, are showing promising signs, one of the few of the afl species who seems to have some active brain cells. Jolly good.

I particularly commend your awareness of “the stupid afl”. This is pure truth, so rarely understood from your species. =D

We see your thoughts on the lions but can you tell us if you think Melbs are now reaping the benefits from their years of tanking to high heaven? And do you think all afl teams in the bottom rungs of the comp should ‘tank it like it’s 1999’ to stick it to “the stupid afl”?

Thanks again for your honesty. Afl members? For the love of god, Follow pete’s lead!!

Melbourne were accused of tanking 9 seasons ago. Given the average AFL playing career is less than 5 seasons there'd be luck to be a few players left from that era at all, let alone an entire team

Epic thread fail

Jesus, who let this arrogant clown in here? This douchebag put me on ignore because he couldn't handle how I pointed out his racist tendencies. He had a big cry to admin and wanted me permabanned but his wishes weren't granted  so he huffed and puffed and put me on ignore... So how he fukk does he now believe he is able to judge this thread?

 the idiocy runs deep in this one.

Anyway we all know Melbs are the masters of the tank. They didn't do it just the once, they've done it over and over again. They actually should be commended on their innovative approach to overcome what could well be the most woeful administration in Australian professional sport.
