Bugger the complex, how about just outright inferior.
So inferior that the biggest news paper in the land today has over 21 fantastically entertaining and informative full pages on AFL.
So after getting my fix in AFL I wanted to flick over and see what happened in the National Flogby League.
Nothing, no stories, no columns, no pictures.
But then I found it.
Just after the classifieds, in the general sport results with the other amateur Sports in the smallest print.
A list of results.
Wow!
That is about as inferior as it gets!
An AFL fan boasting about a news paper in the AFL heartland bubble oh dear.
What is even funnier is the same thing is done with the Daily Telegraph in Sydney. Where AFL gets put behind NRL.

What is even more inferior is New Zealand Newspapers have no AFL section in their sports section but they have Rugby League.

The UK has no AFL section in their Newspapers either yet they have Rugby League coverage too.

Makes AFL look pretty small hey. Puts things in the true perspective. =D  =D

It sure does. Considering the London and New Zealand AFL teams are doing so well......(insert puzzled look)
Even netball got a full page.
I'm disgusted really.
Melbourne actually have a National Flogby League team.
And not just any team, the most successful team in the history of the National Flogby League! And they're playing phenomenally at the moment.
To think they consciously chose to not give an inch of column to them is disrespectful, not just to the Storm but the entire National Flogby League.

There matches always remind me of those late night American shows like Letterman . the ones where signs light up telling the audience when to applaud and when to laugh.
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

It is exhausting puss.
Repeatedly cheering from all the scoring, the high marks, the long bombs, the bullet hand passing, the chasing, the tackling, the laser accurate kicking, the gut running and all the one on one contests.

I barely have time to catch my breath sometimes. And regularly leave a game with less voice than I arrived with.

I often wish that I'd gone to a National Flogby League game instead. (Insert ******** face)
4 or 5 cheers a game is much less taxing. 7 or 8 if you're watching the Storm.

A few choice clips,
Hard to argue with that.
But i'll give it a go.
How about some data.
Our friends at champion data give us a fantastic stat for a teams passing efficiency represented as a percentage.
Basically, hitting targets.
The better teams run at over 75%.
That tells me 3 out of 4 passes are laser accurate.
Do you extrapolate something different from this tangible data?
Or does your whole argument ride on a few choice clips?

Add to that afl players have a direct opponent so even if the pass was accurate it may still be defended . Unlike RL where most passes are uncontested

Gota be a RL troll
Not even the dumbest brainwashed fumbler would claim that.

Congrats ...

& just for shits & giggles
Are there any LASER TECHNICHANS in here ?
The AFL need help.

Apparently the LASER accurate kicking is a bit off

But since then, scores have dipped significantly with the skill level of players and the overall depth of the competition questioned.

The round of football that extended to Anzac Day was the lowest-scoring round since 1996.

The average score per team this year is 79.6 per game, which is the lowest to this point of a season since 1968. And as it stands, the competition is on track to record its most inaccurate season in almost three decades, with a conversion rate of 51.67 per cent (not including shots that miss everything).

Eade lamented that last weekend “there were only four teams that scored 100 points” and that seven kicked less than 70 in perfect conditions for football.

Richmond kicked the highest score for the round with 16.17 (113).

“It was lovely conditions all over Australia. There was no rain,” Eade said.

The main cause for lower scoring is increased defensive strategies like zoning, which is limiting the number of set shots at goal. Therefore far more scoring attempts are during play under pressure
