The AFL inferiority complex .

Post by AFLcrap1 »

Seeing as the last thread was shut down Ive started another .

Why do the Aflol journos churn out absolute inferiority complex rubbish when a big sporting event is in the news .

Last thread had the ramblings of afl teams taking on
Soccer teams ..when the WC was on
Then taking on SOO teams in a game of RL .

A few years back apparently Bert dildo could match Usain Bolt in the Olympics ..

Now it's the Commonwealth games who are on the receiving end of the jealousy of the Victorians .

Have a read of this steaming pile of excretement .
The waa waa look at us look at us
We are relevant please look at us cries are comedy gold .

Lol here is the article

WARNING...do not drink any beverages while reading this

You will probably spit it out or choke on it in a fit of laughter .

David King lists the AFL players who could be going for gold at Commonwealth Games

2018 Commonwealth Games options.

IN CASE you didn’t realise, the Commonwealth Games begin on the Gold Coast on Wednesday.

And while that means the Suns have had to vacate its home and sell games interstate and overseas, it also provides Fox Footy analyst David King with an opportunity to slot the most athletic AFL players into individual events.

Here’s what Kingy came up with.

There are many lightning quick players in the AFL — Charlie Cameron, Jayden Hunt, Nakia Cockatoo, Gary Rohan, Cyril Rioli and Lewis Jetta — but one man could beat them all over 100m — and that is Adam Saad, who clocked an amazing 2.81 seconds in the 2012 draft combine.

King also can’t see the new Essendon recruit being beaten in the 110m hurdles, given he’s been weaving around hurdles since he burst onto the scene as a Gold Coast rookie.

Just two games into his return from a knee reconstruction, West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui has done enough to convince King he is our best option in the high jump. Just ask Sydney and the Western Bulldogs if his bounce is back. Naitanui held the combine running vertical jump record (102cm) for a decade before Kyron Hayden usurped him last year.

Geelong endurance machine Mark Blicavs wasn’t far off qualifying for the London Olympics in 2012 when he traded his spikes in for boots and joined the Cats. King can’t go past him in the steeplechase.

And if Greater Western Sydney workhorse Tom Scully hadn’t gone down on the eve of the Games, King would have pencilled him in for the marathon.

Instead, he has chosen North Melbourne road runner Billy Hartung.

Former AFL goal kicking champion and NFL punter Saverio Rocca might be working with Carlton’s forwards at the minute, but King has little doubt he could steal the Games ... in the shot put or maybe even the hammer throw.

Last but not least, King would use the final spot in his team on four-time Hawthorn premiership star Jordan Lewis in the 20km walk. Why? King believes Lewis is perfectly suited to the event, but is concerned he can stray away from the flags — just like Jane Saville did in 2000. Too soon?

Its called having journos who actually want to promote the sport. You might want to get some at some point.
You really think that's promotion .
It's outright delusion.
The brainwashed southern hicks might lap it up .
The rest of normal Aust know different ..

As has been shown when they step out of the afl bubble these so called athletes don't fare well when put up against other athletes ..

Oh ok......like having a propaganda department. Great idea!!!!!! The NRL should advertise in North Korea. Plenty of massively qualified propaganda experts over there.

lol and you fuckwits complain about the negative media all the fucking time.
Incorrect. If the media are negative because of some proven act or circumstance involving RL or a RL player, administrator or fan - no problem.

If the media publish something unsourced, unproven, distorted or just speculative BS we call it out.

If idiot's like Rothfield print an opinion piece, like this week on refs, and uses headlines like CRISIS and Greenberg is DESTROYING the game we call him out.

Pretty simple really.

An AFL fans inability to distinguish fact from fantasy makes them easy targets for the 'fake news' churned out by the commission. ......its so funny. Though you do feel a bit sorry for them at times :(/ :(/ :(/ WORLD EXPANSION :(/ :(/ :(/

According to you tossers the only facts in the media about the AFL are negative, and fiction is positive. Yet somehow it's completely the other way with the NRL

Yeah. Im the triggered one. Look at your own posts. Im not bitching because the AFL gets positive media that NRL fans can only dream of.
Positive media

Lol
On what planet is that article positive media .

An example of negative media.
NRL caught fudging crowds figures.no proof ..no source .just an accusation

An example of positive media....NRL wins an award for work with indigenous people..

An example of outright delusion ..can't find one so I'll make it up

I've picked a team of rL players that could beat either of the visiting NFL sides .
BLAH BLAH..

In AFL there's plenty of positive media.....record crowds ....etc
Then there's negative ..like essingbong ..drugs etc.

Then there's the delusion
This AFL team could match it with any team in the
SOkka WC
Or a RL SOO team
OR this player could match it with Usain Bolt
Or these players could rep Aust at the ...insert whatever games are on.

You seem very upset that I've highlighted the rampant delusions & inferiority complex associated with your sport .

Can't blame you
I'd be cringing if the Media churned out shit like that about RL

Don't worry .....the Com Games will be over soon & you'll have a break till the next big international event to start the inferiority complex again ....

Look at us look at us
We are relevant
Please look at us
We could do this
We could match it with .....

the people who live in AFL states are interested in the game. They want to read stories about the AFL. The news outlets oblige because they know AFL stories sell papers, produce clicks. Doesnt mean every story is treated seriously.

You tossball fans are SOOOOO salty, it's hilarious

Lol
In the northern states if an article like that was printed about RL players .
It would be treated with ridicule ...like it should be .
In the southern states the brainwashed lap it up .

There's promotion .
Then there's outright delusion .
Seems you (once a level headed poster) have now joined the brainwashed masses .
