The jealousy of the fumblers is great comedy .
I'm pretty sure your have no idea what jealousy actually means.
Address my point.
Of course I know what it means .
It's on show ..every year on here .SOO ...thread after thread
4N RL ..frothing & foaming
RLWC.just look at the bullshit posted by the fumblers .

& now you have joined in with deriding a tournament that your sport doesn't have ,

Are you Jealous ?
Yes very
:))) :))) :)))
I think you think we care more than we actually do. Well I can’t speak for others but I know I really don’t care re jealous. I’ll even watch if I weren’t out tonight. Although ashes is on isn’t it too? I do think nrl have something special with soo though and it’s a great event. Wouldn’t say I was jealous or envious even though and realise why it doesn’t work for afl. The works Cup and such I think is good for Rl. Yes it’s a bit contrived te team makeup but think the nrl or arl or whoever makes the rules have got this right as it is about growing the game. I wonder if they could do a similar thing with soo ... being flexible with elegibility criteria for non heartland states. The afl did this years back and not sure how it went over. They allowed Sydney Swans players to play for nsw for instance ... a bit silly I think.

Anyway... I’m certainly not jealous of representative Rl. Just more sport for me to watch.

World cup fever hey? The final only had 40k at the game and 355k watching in Sydney. Melbourne gets more for the AFL for the average Friday night game.
No wonder you throwball fans love your internationals.....lol

Embarrassing it may have been.
But did you really expect it would come close to selling out.

Should have held it in Melbourne.

Going by some of the latest stats it looks like Sydney are growing a bit tired of the old league :(/
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

For a very minor sport it did well on Melbourne. But like any major marquee event you will always get a crowd in Melbourne.

Were we they played? how many were played in cairns ? Unless your comparing apples with apples comparisons of this nature mean little.

But yes , just under 1.4m for the final and going head to head with the ashes, Wow
