We are going to Russia, yea baby.

Question to the RL boys, where is the next World Cup being held, RU I think announced France, so i assume RL will be UK?

Could you imagine following a sport that had no international presence, no wonder they invade so many other boards during their off season they must be bored out of their mind. No off season for football, none for Rugby, none for League
Football in NSW
- Football 200,868
- AFL NSW/ACT 28,468
- Rugby League 96,041
- Rugby Union 40,685
Football has 22% more players than the other football codes combined

Next World cup for rugby will be japan 2019 then France 2023. 2023 should have gone to Ireland but when you guaranteed a net revenue return of $600 million its hard to turn that down.

I've heard even some of the minor codes, swept up by the celebrations, will get in on the act also by entering pretend Australian teams. At this stage it remains unclear just who the opposition will be :(/

South Africa remains the strong favourite to be awarded the 2023 Rugby World Cup on Wednesday but there is growing concern that a failure to fully engage in behind-the-scenes lobbying may have opened the door for Ireland or France.
After two weeks of rancour and recrimination from the Irish and French following World Rugby’s evaluation report and subsequent recommendation in favour of South Africa, the council of the sport’s governing body will make its decision in a secret ballot in London – 39 votes are cast, a simple majority of 20 is required for victory.
