Sydney is a tough old sporting market. The A-league has no marquee players this year that I know of and crowds and interest seem to be down from last year so tomorrows crowd may be down also.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 2:01 pmwonder what the A League Syd Derby will get...
haven't heard really anything about it..
besides Syd FC are FAVS and tickets have been sluggish
Yep sure is! Yet the swans have no problems in consistency pulling good numbers!Terry wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 5:19 pmSydney is a tough old sporting market. I noticed that the big horse race in Sydney last week drew 33,000 and the organisers were crowing about it. That number doesn't compare with what they get in Bleakbourne for the big races.
It seems Sydney folk are far more discerning with any live events they attend whereas the southerners will do anything and go anywhere to get their minds off their dreary lives.
Lol, much harder to make it into the A league than the VFL. Much larger pool of players to contend with, both Australian and international (not that VFL would know anything international players lol), and football's a much more difficult sport to master. Careful what you call a second class product.leagueiscrap wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2017 8:03 pmYep sure is! Now quit the deflecting and just answer why can the swans constantly pull decent crowds and the other codes can’t?
Is it people don’t want to pay for a second class product!
I mean ffs look at the nrlol finals series $15 to free tickets and the crowds were still shit then you have the afl and swans charging a premium and still selling out!
People are fed up and just don’t want to pay for something that’s is shit!
Swans have restricted capacity and look at their averages
how can i go back to my padded cell if ive never been in one spazza
