Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
Yep 2 teams in the NRL Gf that had won a comp in the last 5 years plus no home town team
V a fairytale for richmondville with long suffering fans .
Waiting near 4 decades to win one
We should have got trounced ..we didn't

Terry wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 2:03 pmNot true my friend. I acknowledged that the AFL had a small win in GF numbers. (Although amended numbers could still change that - it was that close). I also however commented that it was actually a great result for RL and a big disappointment for AFL considering the teams that played in the respective games.NlolRL wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:56 pmTerry wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 1:54 pmGee the fumblers are in meltdown today Lololololololololol. Don't mention the war Lolololoololololololol. Like for like, like for life, like for like Lololololololoololol.
Be happy fumblers. You stand with tennis on the dais behind multiple RL games. Stay strong. Hold hands with tennis and fight on Lolololololololololol.
you're the one ignoring the weekend's results and referring to 3 games played mid year
RL had it's lamest match up in a very long time, and no Sydney team, whilst the AFL had a fairy tale Richwood and Rusty Martin playing.
That's what ya call objective posting.
The AFL match was also a one-sided affair, AND it was non-prime time. That is by far the biggest factor of all, yet roundly ignored by tossballers

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
& as has been explained & continually ignored
Any more casual viewers who are in front of the TV during prime time have a FAR GREAter choice of top rating shows to watch .
So IMO that negates any advantage of having more people available to watch .
Why do you mob ignore This.
Doesn't suit what agenda you are running today .

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
we dont ignore it. We acknowledge the far bigger audience during the evening compared to the day time. EVERY program at night rates higher, not just the most popular ones. If that wasnt the case networks would simply show their best programs on Saturday afternoon and clean up. Yet they dontAFLcrap1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 2:21 pm& as has been explained & continually ignored

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
I know you acknowledge a far bigger audience pyou mob repeat it over & over
But you continually ignore that a bigger audience does not make for more viewers for a sporting event if shown at night as suggested by you mob if the AFl moved to night .

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
You acknowledge there will be a proportion of people who like sport on TV in prime time, and will watch just about any sport that's convenient?
Channel 7 realise the block is on ch9, and Survivor is on CH10, yet they still broadcast their most popular show against them. If they followed your logic theyd show it on Saturday afternoon and rake it in

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
NRL G.F was over at Half Tme>> 18-0
AFL G.F was a 10pt Gap which Richmond kicked 2 quick goals before end of quarter.. to get in front..
so was neck and neck..

Re: GRAND FINALS 2017
The NRL G.F
was very disappointing>>
Storm were always going to win>>
I would also say it was a slow game and not as open as I would of liked>>
but this game was a Standard Melbourne Storm Game>>
