I think they pick the team that is best suited to beat the Irish given the style of game is played.

Oh dear. How easy is this lolololololololol. This is what the great coach Kelvin Shedley said about Izyy Folau last year - he was encouraging GWS to try and lure him back from Rugby:

"Give the ball to Izzy Folau coming out of defence and people will go 'wow'," Sheedy said.
"Izzy Folau will cut a swathe through them. He'll be like Michael Jackson coming out of the back line.
"Do we have the audacity and courage to stick a guy like him at centre half-back and teach him how to play, work off a player then run and receive and rebound?
"He can be anything that bloke. Don't think he can't play AFL. Izzy Folau was one of the best talents I've ever seen run out on a footy field."

Heres the article:

Lol as per usual the news source suits your argument so it’s magically a credible source!

Now back to reality
And how did the players turn out?
Isn’t funny how they looked so unco and ****** and out of their depth in the afl yet jump over to the union and are starring! After coming from the top of their game from league!

It’s funny how you fruitloops keep trying to argue this
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
