Look I rarely comment on this subject as I believe it’s more a reflection of general society than a bad reflection on any one sports codes. That said, the almost hysterical rantings and moral superiority on show by some leaguies here wold have anyone believing this issue is exclusively an AFL problem. Clearly that’s not the case and the fact that whole sections of an NRL crowd were booing a champion of the game like Inglis and no fans thought it should be reported is truly sad. As mentioned in another post, it appears to be tolerated in the NRL, whereas in the AFL it isn’t and fans will point it out.

:(/ :(/ :(/ good one beau :(/ :(/ :(/

More than half the Penrith players are dark skinned. So if it came from someone in thhe crowd he must be a nutter and as far as Im aware, Gill was not at the game but that doesn't mean that he couldn't have sent one of his followers to make the alleged remarks.

If this did happen in the NRL its a one off, in the AFL its a weekly occurrence.
What do you mean if? Inglis reported it!

As for it being a one-off, take your thugby glasses off! It also happens in RL despite veing ignored by other fans. In the AFL other fans report racist behaviour which is why it seems like more incidents
allegations is all it is at this stage. Yes Inglis was the one who reported it but he was heavily concussed and being escorted from the field at the time.

It may have happened, probably did but don't confuse your racist 'one white parent sport' with mine.
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Firstly what a disgusting event that has apparently occurred here. I hope the NRL catch this asswipe and ban him or her for good. It's a disgrace and a shame on the code.
Just curious KE... are all those sections of the crowd who were booing Inglis also racist and a shame on the code? I seem to remember you suggesting AFL crowds that boo’d Goodes were. Same logic right?

Gee only Round 2 of a new NRL season and already our first mass public display of racism from RL fans directed at a true Aboriginal champion of the game. Terrible eh?

I think you're prolly jumping the gun by a fair distance there beaussie. Josh Dugan was on his twitter a week earlier stating his disgust at crowd members booing a bloke who was injured. It appears this is what the crowd at penrith were also doing.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/nrl/v ... d703cc4ab4

Seems pretty shithouse and worthy of one of you afl turkeys opening a thread attacking NRL crowds but at this point I can't see a reason to relate it to racism like the booing of Adam goodes. Adam goodes wasn't injured when he was booed. He wasn't cheating when he was booed. Most the time he wasn't actually doing anything other than touching the freakin ball or scratching his head when he was booed. It was the worst ever case of mass booing in the history of Australian sport. And it was undeniably based in the crowds hatred of goodes for taking a strong stand against racism. Undeniably.

So beaussie I think ya gonna have to have a lil rethink on the idea that inglis was booed by a pack of wild prinitive racists like the ones in pretty much every afl ground round the country did to goodes a few years back.

Nice summation there King! I watched the game on Fox & didn't hear any booing. Unlike when poor Allan Goode was subjected to such rabid, hysterical booing it forced him into retirement the poor bugger.

And the idiot who yelled something to GI has been called out by all and sundry and will be dealt with pronto.

Yep. No comparison to the appalling treatment dished out to poor Allan.

Beaussie? I think you’ve taken things well too far, jumped the gun, had a little brain explosion on your own site here  now you’re no nlol, you haven’t made shit up to defend racists so I won’t go as far to call you unaustralian but...I for one, as the only other inaugural tfc member, will order you apologise!

Now say you’re sorry for your error in judgement. Apologise to me, the members and guests. Say it! :****:

Wow, this fukkstick has less intelligence than his nightly grog bog. Is it surprising this guy is an afl fan? Unfortunately no...it’s not. Time you other afl clowns acknowledge your code has serious issues with racists throughout.

he wasnt called out at all, Inglis reported the abuse. The fans around this clown obviously just ignored it. What is wrong with RL fans? If they arent hurling racial abuse theyre turning a blind eye. Tsk tsk

 meanwhile nlol says nothing about dockers post stating there was nothing wrong with calling Inglis a black dog.

What an absolute complete hypocrite, zero class and weak as piss. [-X

Oh yeah and he also wasn’t able to realise terry was referring to rugby league players and fans calling out the racism as shithouse and defending Inglis character all over social media. Interesting how Goodes was lynched by thousands of afl fans like nlol on social media who called Goodes a “tool” and a “cheat” so he deserved to be booed. [-X

No I'm not saying that all LOL. How does the word liar even come into this? I guess a person who spends plenty of time defending the AFL would become very familiar with that word. [-(

Yet you completely ignored my statement.

If you paid attention, I said there was nothing wrong because what he said was invalid because he isn't black not because its a racist remark. Of course the remark was offensive, but why im I explaining this. Its your fans.
