Re: Montreal Canada eyes UK rugby league team for 2019
I'm with the league boys on this one because no doubt if there was some overseas expansion in afl we all would here about it. Also if memory serves me there was a topic about afl in China.Swans4ever wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2017 2:14 pmAnd how does this relate to Australia? Isnt there an international thread for these topics?
Good on them but Let's just see how Toronto goes as we all know from leagues history there is always talk but no action

Well said 365. Apart from the poor grammar and the lack of a full stop at the end of the last sentence not a bad effort. Three hoorays for you pal!!! You're a strange one for a Rugby aficionado.rugby365 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2017 5:10 pmI'm with the league boys on this one because no doubt if there was some overseas expansion in afl we all would here about it. We'll that's done it.
Bloody Union fans agreeing with us mungos, the world's fucked as we know it.
I will say this tho, you are not peter spitzsimmons, he'd just lie and side with the fumblers, no backbone in that fella. Although if you offered him a beer or 3 slabs he might say something nice about League, like the grass always looks good on the pitch or something.

Are we allowed to count the ratings and crowd for this afl match in China seeing as any rl matches played outside nsw and qld seem not to count, not even the poor old worriers.

All ratings in Australia count when using ratings to argue popularity of a sport in this country.

Brilliant news
A Canadian team playing in the U.K and France..
if this Florida team gets up and running, it will make it an interesting 2025 R.L World CUP
Bright Signs ahead!!!

Yeah are big plans for Rugby League in America. I know for a fact Americans & Canadians will take to Rugby League more than they would to AFL.
So many similarities to Grid Iron, like line breaks and hit ups, structured plays etc..
