As long as I get to watch my afl each week I'm not too concerned if it spreads to another country .

AFL - when a player is tackled and the ball cant be recycled the play restarts. your :)))
Do actually call that a tackle? More like a come from behind waste grab lol :(/

Saying that, Rugby has seen the light and invented a better form of the game. Rugby7s.
I wouldnt call that a tackle either but the point wasn't about the type of tackle it was the fact there is another sport that restarts when a tackle is complete.

Seen the light? 😂. Rugby sevens has been around since 1880, it's not something new sunshine. Its used as more of a development tool now by most nations and helps with fitness and game offence. It's still dwarfed by the 15 a side version. Just look at the attendance numbers for the 2015 World Cup
And that is the main reason Union is dying. Stop start football !
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

union is failing in australia simply due to poor management not the style. Look at the local club rugby in sydney. they had 20k for the final. how many amateur sports get that sorts of crowds for a local final? Union everywhere else is fine not perfect but no sport is.

Talk about self ownage at its best

The forum idiot says RL is dying ..in a thread discussing the success of a new pro team in a country that has little history of RL .
& where there's discussion of other new teams starting up overseas .

Haha. The fumblers got frogmarched outta NZ so strike that out. And Chinese Police are still looking for those 3k locals in Shanghai hiding under the grandstands loololololololol. Apparently the investigation is now focused on whether they actually went into the ground rather than whether they actually got out!!! Lolololololololol.

Yep - you're pretty safe Fredo!!!!

It's been discussed many a times
Leagues participation numbers are down
Tvratings are down
Crowds are down
The league can't get a bank loan
The club loosing money and demanding extra funding

Sounding very much like a Coles commercial!
If that's not going down! I don't know what is!

& once again .
Whoooooosh
Straight over your empty head .
THIS THREAD is about the success of RL overseas.
Why are you ranting about other shit .
You really don't have a clue about anything
Now stay on topic .
& explain how RL is dying when new teams are starting up overseas.
That's some great logic there.
