Re: Titans V Thuns
Flicked over when I got home (from my weekly soujourn around south east qld counting goal posts ) and turned to see the eels and titans and was wondering what you thought the crowd was like crapper .... think it was a home game for titans. Seemed like one stand was maybe half to third filled but the rest of the ground was empty. Always hard to tell from tv. What you think crappwr?

Who won by the way? After 10 minutes kids wanted the surfing on that they taped. Seemed a good match ... although crowd not too loud.

Would this cover costs for the day. I know the suns need around 6 thousand i think as they own the managment rights to the ground so no rent.

Re: Titans V Thuns
Fair dinkum Fred where does one start with you!! You just can't make things up pal lest you get caught out repeatedly. The fumbling suns need in excess of a 13,000 crowd to turn a profit at Metricon. Yes Fredo......that's way way more than 6,000.........lolololoololol.
And they are currently lobbying the Qld Govt to get a better stadium deal because they believe they are getting overcharged to the tune of 1M per year. Yep......wrong again Fredo........lololololololol.
And who says these things I hear you ask.....lololololol..?? Well......it's the fumbling suns loud mouth boss Tony Cochrane. He might be a loud mouth dill but he probably know a tad more than waffling Fred.

Re: Titans V Thuns
Well I stand corrected. I was always of the belief it was around 6000 to break even but alas you on this occasion are correct

I was of the belief the suns had the management rights or least in conjunction with stadiums qld or whatever it is called. Hence the suns wanting crickey played there and then boosting of making money from the foo fighters concert.
Anyway... well there you go.

Re: Titans V Thuns
Thanks wookie. So they make money from other events held at the stadium hence them exploring cricket there in the summer.
Anyway, will be interesting to see the suns crowds this year. I suspect they will just be okay win loss wise so don't think that will pull too many more through the gate but they are playing all the big drawing teams at home.

Hey aflcrap... the way the suns are playing you're a shoe in for this bet. I think the titans could have taken the field tonight and won. Totally crap.
