Re: Titans V Thuns
The titans have always been more popular idiot, their first three seasons seen their average over 20k, something the thuns have not got near once. The titans will be a hellava lot closer to 20k this season than that transplanted upstart fudging machine you are backing

El dingbat
Have your balls dropped yet .
Or are you still sporting a mangina
You have rubbished the Titans for the last 3 years
Yet when asked to back up your laughable claims .
You ran like a dog .
So step right up
Let's have a bet on the popularity of each team this year .
Wookie can ensure that no one won't honour the bet .
Over to you .
& try to stay on topic .

Re: Titans V Thuns
Lol you got any proof they they were?
Interest in the titans only began again towards the end of the season when they were going to play finals and hayne started playing for them
This shit keeps getting repeated because you keep rambling on with this crap until you get your way, regardless what proof it put in front of you
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap
and she still changes your nappies as well!

Re: Titans V Thuns
I think it will be close this year between the two. If suns do poorly again the crowds will drop but they do have a rusted on supporter base however this has been tested in last year. Titans have Hayne back but I think they should have kept that gunpowder dry for this season. They also get good crowds from the local kiwis when play New Zealand and there is an annual trip a Sydney team make where their supporters come in droves. If any team is smashing it on the field they will draw good crowds.
The suns have several big drawing teams coming up and that will see large crowds. They should do better this year but I don't think to the levels they should be so the band wagon supporters may not get on board.
So overall, I think it will be close, which as an nrl town I am not sure such closeness is a good sign for afl and the suns or a bad sign for the titans, which many people supporting other club. And whilst that is true for the suns, afl folk seem to really take the suns on as their second team where they already have a main team. This works in their favour whereas titans, either you are or you aren't.
I will go out on a limb and say suns to get bigger home crowd at Metricon than titans will at their stadium in Robina (skilled?). Home and away season that it.
If both make finals well I think suns will get higher for their finals but could come down to when the games are played.

Re: Titans V Thuns
Hey if you are right afl crap then happy to concede you were right. Really, titans should be selling out most games in a one team rl town so should win. We will wait and see and no but. It's whether it is Hayne or opposition crowds etc.

Re: Titans V Thuns
The difference is
TITANS crowd of 16k ...playing a SYD team is about 90-95% TITANS fans .
Thuns crowd of 16 k playing a MELB team .
50/50 .
That shows just how popular each team on the GC
Don't believe me
What happened last yr when they played on the same day
Same conditions
Lol
Titans slaughtered them in the crowd numbers

Re: Titans V Thuns
No I disagree on crowds being mostly titans when playing a Sydney team. Regular calls from titans to get fans along stating they want to out number the opposition.
Suns do get a lot of other teams supporters but also they may go to their teams game and yet turn up to the next 3 or 4 supporting the Suns.

Sure. If titans win I will say well done titans. I think it will be very close but who knows. Anyway we will see. I'm not overly confident to be honest but what the hell. Least it will stop you bumping the thread lol
