the NRL has been caught out several times for decades for fudging and inflating their game.
the games popularity is based on an inaccurate ratings system.
if there was any truth to how popular the NRLOL is this would flow through and reflect in their non broadcast revenue, which trails the A League and Union!

So TV networks are paying more to NRL for less game time than they do for AFL.

Similar to SOO, the blues broke their losing streak, that was enough. The only hope will be game 2 if Queensland wins. But my prediction both events will be lower than last year.
