Re: NRL GF still not sold out
Its about supply and demand. The afl gf soul out in a day and had 100k with thousands missing out. Tickets were going for thousands on eBay. The NRL GF didnt even sell out and tickets were going for less than $50 on eBay. Hilarious.pHyR3 wrote:good job, you have a richer fan base. amazing stuff mate!adamj1300 wrote:still sold half the price of the AFL GF tickets, & the NRL did not sell outpHyR3 wrote:Patchy crowd? yea talk shitXman wrote:Watch the NRL embarrass themselves by claiming a patchy crowd is near capacity :_<>

What an embarassment. Can't even sell out their codes biggest match of the year... I'm looking forward to the next few years when you'll be lucky to watch the rubbish on ABC Saturday afternoons between the club rugby.

Re: NRL GF still not sold out
lol@news ltd fail to deter GF crowd with there constant negativity, great atmosphere to watch and by two of the most hated teams of Sydney. Who would of thought that. I suspect News LTD will find something negative to point out one way or another, it's always there way.
Next year commission needs to focus on promotion, ticket prices and better scheduling. Overall, the big teams fail to deliver on the field hinder the crowds mildly it's up to all 16 teams to carry the load and not just reliant on the big crowd pullers to carry the weight.

the Grand Final ticket prices for the leagues big finale where reasonably priced, when you consider most ticket's where around the $80, its inline with other events, you get free public transport travel included with the ticket, which is worth $20 to $30 dollars right there

Not one to open old wounds, however, will this be the case again this year?

Re: NRL GF still not sold out
How can something be sold out when 20 odd thousand tickets are given away
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap
and she still changes your nappies as well!
