Any ratings for those world dominating Kangawhoos vs the Scots? Was certainly a huge crowd in attendance for what appears to have been a thrilling match. :(/ :(/ :(/

TV ratings surely must be astronomical yeah? Where are they? :?>

Australia 54 (Cooper Cronk, Josh Mansour 2, Blake Ferguson, James Maloney, Josh Dugan, Tyson Frizell, Michael Morgan, Jake Trbojevic tries; James Maloney 7 goals) defeated Scotland 12 (Ryan Bierley, Ben Kavanagh tries; Danny Brough 2 goals) at KC Lightstream Stadium. Crowd: 5,337. Half-time: 30-6 (Australia). Man of the Match: Matt Moylan (Australia).

absolutely smashed

I think the BBL 35 games got over 45million viewers APPROX (love to know the figures)
and 20 of the 35 games were sell outs..

THE A LEAGUE only managed 2 million viewers across fox and SBS over 6 rounds
at the same time the BBL was on..

  WOW

Hey, I asked this in another atea but thought I would post here.

When Foxtel give their ratings figures that is for how many people with fox had the tv on that channel.. is that right ?

And when you OzTAM do their ratings they use a ratings box where the amount of people watching are imputed into the box. There it could count 4, 5 or 7 people as watching this OzTAM is snount of people watching and an estimate at that. Is this correct?

Therefore if it is correct we have two different metrics? Yes?

Therefore we cannot simply add the figures together for a total figure. One is people watching and one is number of TVs tinned to a channel ?

Okay. Cheers. I thought it just counted how many of their sets were tuned into a show.

you would think with Foxtel, it would be set up to get an very accurate figure,
as you need the box to watch...

but looks like not.

The box is just to get station ... wouldn't tell you how many watching. Hence why they need a ratings box I guess.

So what's the cumulative total for Aussie rules and rl so far this year. With the preseason, women's comp, and great opening round is Aussie rules catching up to rl yet?

Getting desperate now Freddo! You've gone from goal post counting to scrounging around for any number, no matter how irrelevant, to add to the fumbling total. I mean how many 'game's' or 'event's' are ya gonna add into the mix - last year you had many many more and still got thrashed..........lolololololololo.

I'm happy the way Wookie has collated the numbers the last few years, lets just stick to that rather than resort to the old fumbling trick of contorting and bending numbers to get a confected result. There's a good boy!!!!

Hey we are counting the codes rather than the competition then we have to add it all in. Just because rl don't have a televised women's competition does not mean at should not count it? Same as addicted by soo... just because at does not have this does not mean rl should not count it ... or so the argument seems to go.

Gees, looks like great games of footy in the AFL and NRL for Anzac Day today (golden point for NRL). I wonder which code will win the tv ratings?
