The NBL H&A season is now complete with the Kings taking out the minor premiership after another victory over the hapless West Sydney Razorbacks. Roll on with the finals. Oh and btw, that's another $30 you owe me KE. :damnfunny:

Sydney 112 West Sydney 85

The Sydney Kings crushed West Sydney last night to claim their third successive minor premiership.

Sydney led from the opening whistle to be 52-45 ahead at half-time and continued the hit-and-run tactics to bypass the preliminary play-offs and move directly into the semi-finals.

West Sydney were weakened by the last-minute withdrawal of power forward Simon Dwight, who suffered blurred vision from a scratched eyeball against Hunter on Friday night.

But the Kings still have plenty of work ahead if they want to become the first team to win three titles in succession.

Coach Brian Goorjian will need to find answers for terrible shooting from the free-throw line and the number of fouls conceded.

Neither team was confident with free throws, Sydney converting only three from 11 in the first half and West Sydney 13 from 22.

Despite these problems, the Kings never looked like losing, shooting away to a 9-0 opening lead and extending the advantage to 22 midway through the third quarter.

"We've proved ourselves. We were bad last night [in a 85-77 loss to Wollongong] but played with intensity tonight despite being under more pressure," Goorjian said.

"Whatever comes our way in the semi-finals we'll be ready. The players will have 48 hours off to relax and it will be back to training on Tuesday.

"We were in this situation last year and we're now better at handling it but it is still a challenge."

Aaron Trahair provided the only early spark for West Sydney with a quartet of three-pointers which tied the score in the opening quarter but added only two points in the remaining 36 minutes.

Without a scoring leader, West Sydney were restricted to defence and tempers flared on a number of occasions after hard body contact.

The action was fast and furious throughout with a combined total of 13 steals, 45 fouls and 64 long-range shots.

The Kings converted 43 from 86 attempts from the floor while West Sydney were less successful with only 29 conversions from 76 efforts.

Just pay up bitch. Evil or Very Mad

Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the finals series. Time for your hapless Razors to re-build. No finals for you. :damnfunny:
