|
|
There hasn't been a real roughie to win the RL Grand Final in many years - I mean a team that was despised in betting prior to the start of the season who comes good.
My best roughie for 2005 would be Cronulla - I just get the feeling they're about to have one of those special years. Just a gut-feeling. Any other improver? |

Cowboys are the obvious choice for me.
I agree with the Cronulla selection also.
I'd love to say South Sydney, but...

Whilst I despise rugby league, I'm with you Dizzy, the Cowboys for me.
As for Sth Sydney, well. |

If Parramatta can get a decent halfback and resolve the obvious issues with Smith and Fitzgerald I reckon they're a good roughie. Probably a biased opinion seeming I follow them. But one of the most frustrating parts of being a Parra fan is they have a decent side but just cant put it together. We can only hope.
I'm with you too on Cronulla croc but I dont think North Queensland can be called a roughie this year after last years form. _________________
