Re: GWS vs Raiders Home Crowds 2014

By the way, the suns facilities off field are pretty bad .... Compared to say Essendon or collingwood. Literally training in a shed currently. But by the looks of things they've managed to score a new training and admin development as part of the Comms games work. Will only cost them $20m too by th...

I have neither the patience nor the crayons required to dumb this down any further for you.

Good one dh.
Aren't nRL TV ratings down this year?

Re: GWS vs Raiders Home Crowds 2014

I for one am glad the Raiders are so financially secure. Means they won't be kicked out of the comp and will continue indefinitely to act as an anchor to the nRL's plans to increase the competition's crowd averages.

Re: GWS

It seems normal to Victaaaards ,yet to others it is laughable. Really, because crowds for the Crows, Port, Freo, Eagles are quite good too. And the two teams that have benefitted in the past from this strategy are both still doing quite well crowd-wise in the Swans and the Lions. Seems to me to be ...

Re: Thuns

If Gary gets through the season without injury they'll play finals.

Jack Martin and Kade K have been amazing in their first years, and another pre-season will do them both a world of good.

Re: Raiders ....

Back on topic, no, they won't be making the finals next year, or the next three years. They have all the money in the world but can't buy a player. There's zero corporate support in Canberra, and thus little-to-no 3rd party sponsorship potential. Best you can hope for as a player is a Canberra Milk ...

Re: GWS

There's a good case for GWS moving up next year. its not like they can go any further down  They're 16th, not 18th, so yes, they can go further down. For me I don't think they'll make finals next year, but will be around the mark and will surprise a few teams. But if they have a decent dra...

Re: more crowd pain : NRL

Weird how rain doesn't stop 50k people attending the Crows v Richmond game a few weeks back. Yuou can't just start an attendance culture. Ours has developed over generations. This is the reason why they're having so much trouble increasing their average attendance to 20k. It's not a switch you can j...

Re: predict the TV audience for the panthers tonight

Well the results are in. 266k people watched the Panthers on Fox Monday night, making it the most viewed nRL game on foxtel this weekend. Here's where the game sits for the weekend's fox AFL ratings. I've put the crowd at the game in brackets to posit this question; are the Monday night STV ratings ...
