I think I see what is happening here. There are actually two arguments happening here and both are correct. Afl people are saying that the swans draw good crowds, indeed generally better crowds than other codes in Sydney . This is true and a cold hard fact based on attendances in Sydney to football ...

I think it was a silly statement , but so too is the comment that afl has no interest on the GC. It has plenty of interest ... Found this ... As can be seen crowds seem to fluctuate but as can be seen compared to when they started averages have certainly increased with natural variance over the years .
